Unique Label

Have you ever seen a label like this. The top is cut away to reveal the added circle. From the back you can see that she had a decoration but didn't cut the hole large enough and so the work she did around the edge was covered. Interesting!! I may try this on one of my project for a label.

Mid Atlantic Quilt Study

I attended the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Study yearly event on Saturday, in Burlington NJ. About 65 were in there to go from station to station and view and examine 12-15 examples of quilts supplied by individuals or historical societies. I was a presentor and shared quilts with the red and green theme. Plus a couple other early types. They offer a cd of the event for $15. That is available from Judy Grow.

A little drunkards path

This was a small top that an elderly friend of mine had from her mother. I quilted it and offered it back to her but she said she had no use for it and her children wouldn't want it, so .........i will love it!

Antique New York Beauty

Do you think I should soak it unquilted to see if the stains will lighten?

The Last Border on Broderie Perse

Finally!!! I'm quilting the last border on my broderie perse. I have one side complete and started the second. It seems like I've been working on it forever but it has only been a few months.  The quilting is hard to see on the dark fabric but it is solidered feathers with 1/2" lines. Hope you can see some of it.
