    I love these Donna! Saw one come up for auction recently and coveted it !! Yours look lovely mounted and framed. Do you know what metal they are made from ? I gather late 1800's?

    The birds look like copper and the others shown are rolled tin.

    I think I am seriously jealous. I have seen wooden ones in the UK in a museum but nothing like as good as these.

    These are awesome! I look in antique stores all the time but have never found any. How do you find them? I would love to know more about the history of these templates. Thanks for sharing. Lizzie

      some of mine are copper and some are rolled tin. mine are 1800's. you can send photos and i'll try to help
