How lucky you are to have such a wonderful piece of heritage in your possession. Do you know much about the history of the quilt?
The couple names that I googled were civil war vets. I didn't look beyond that. I would think it wouldn't be that hard to see what else ties them together. Hometown, etc
Everyone then had such lovely penmanship! Beautiful quilt.
It looks as if one person wrote all the names
