  2. It is offered by Margo Kramer. Copied from a quilt at Lincoln, Nebraska's Quilt center. Amazing!!

  4. I would say that you are a very lucky person to own the original 1815 quilt. It looks to be in excellent condition. The copy is dead on if you ask me.

  6. Hi Donna,
Wow, when I saw it I thought it was close but didn't realize it was an exact match !
This is thrilling ! The original is really beautiful, good that you have it.

  7. Like Pat, I am thinking you are one lucky lady to own such a spectacular early 19th C quilt. The new panels are excellent and exactly what I would expect from someone like Margo Kramer. But, they still pale compared to your original example!

  8. Thanks Donna,
Fabulous to see an original of this gorgeous panel/quilt, I love your quilt. I agree with Taryn, Margo has done an absolutely brillaint job of creating her panel range, but we need the passing of a 150 years or so before it will look like yours. I was so keen to get a panel or two but the international special shipping rates have somewhat kurbed my enthusiasm

  9. Very nice! My monitor shows the repro as 'pinker' toned overall. It will be good to hear from anyone who ordered it. I have such a list of projects now that I am holding off - but I may have to reconsider as it may be GONE and I'll regret it!

  10. My panel from Margo came yesterday, and I was so pleased with the coloring. Your original is a beauty - lucky you! I'll have to be content with the repro, and I am!
